First and only stop – Stonehenge
Stonehenge is definitely one of the most famous neolithic monuments and visited attractions in the world. It has also been awarded the prestigious World Heritage Status award and is one of the major wonders of the world. There are conflicting thoughts behind why it was built, first ideas were as a pagan place of worship, this was followed by an astronomical clock and then lead onto a Bronze age burial ground. The history of Stonehenge goes back over 5000 years, and this Stonehenge Express tour gives you the perfect opportunity to make up your own mind on exactly what Stonehenge was used for with the help of its world-class exhibition centre.
You will take our luxury coach from the meeting point directly to Stonehenge, which is approximately a 90-minute drive from London. When you arrive at the site, your day’s driver will give you all your information (including your audio) guide) and assist you into Stonehenge. From here, you can then enjoy your afternoon at your own pace with the useful factsheet and fascinating audio guide tour to guide you through the history and mystery of the famous Stonehenge in many different languages.
Tour End Point – London Victoria Coach Station
Your Premium Tour will finish outside London Victoria Coach Station; this gives you easy access to National Rail and Underground trains, enabling you to get to where you need to be in the evening. For example, if you are on the 8:15 am tour, you can expect the time to arrive at the station at approximately 3:00 pm. If you are on the 10:45 am tour, you can expect to arrive at about 5:30 pm. Of course, all these times can change depending on weather, traffic and other factors.

Important Info: Why should I pre-book my tickets or tours?
You may be unable to reserve tickets for Stonehenge on the day! Therefore, if you want to book a place, you need to pre-book tickets the day before.
Very few tickets are made available on the day at the destination, so you wouldn’t want to travel all the way to Stonehenge and find that all the tickets have gone – which they often do.
Tickets booked in advance mean a discount price often, especially if booked as part of a larger group.
All tickets give you an allotted time to go in and see the Stones; therefore, if you do turn up on the day, you could get a ticket for Stonehenge – but it could be for a much later time slot.
Finally, all our tours are fully refundable, so as long as you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice before your tour starts! So you can book your tour with peace of mind if your plans change and with no charges.
