Reviews of our Stonehenge Tours from London

  • Brilliant

Well, this Stonehenge trip was BRILLIANT! I was a bit nervous given the cheap price; however, from the moment I arrived at the meeting point, I knew it would be great. The driver was super friendly with an excellent commentary on the journey up and back. We could even stop at Woodhenge, which was an unexpected surprise! We were also so lucky with the weather and took some amazing photos, just a brilliant day all round!

  • Value For Money

We decided to take the express trip to Stonehenge as we had the afternoon in London free before flying back to the US early the following day. It was a great way to spend our final afternoon in London. However, it was outside and meant we got to see some of the great British countryside we had heard about but never really seen. We were so lucky with the weather, clear blue sky and great for photos. The trip was really good value for money, and the coach and driver were nice.

  • Loved It

The journey to Stonehenge took longer than we expected, it was almost two hours (thank goodness for the WIFI on board!), but it was well worth it when we got there. We went on a really windy day, which meant that it wasn’t as enjoyable as we hoped it would have been – but you cannot predict the weather, and we still loved it! It’s a shame there is a main road right next to the stones. However, we were so well looked after by our driver and felt safe and happy with him; the bus was super too!

Is this tour suitable for families and kids?

Absolutely! Kids love the mystery of Stonehenge, and the short travel time is ideal for little legs. The visitor centre also has fun interactive displays that keep them engaged.

No guided walking tour is included — and that’s part of the charm! You’re free to wander the site, soak up the atmosphere, and explore at your own speed.

What happens if it rains?

Stonehenge is an outdoor site, and the weather can be unpredictable. But don’t worry — the visitor centre has a great exhibition and a café where you can warm up. We recommend bringing a light jacket or umbrella, just in case.
